The Halcyon Bee: Gratitude Stones

The premise behind Gratitude Stones is to remind yourself to be grateful for what you have in your life. It could be relationships, physical items, a lesson, a feeling, anything that that is important enough to you to make your life that little bit better. The rock is just a reminder to be thankful. You can get one from me or you can find any rock that means something to you. Maybe it's one you found, one that was given to you, a crystal. As a matter of fact it doesn't even need to be a stone! Place your item somewhere where you will see it everyday. I like putting it in places where I know where I will see it. I put mine on my night stand next to my bed. That way every night before I go to bed and first thing in the morning, I will see it.

Other great places can be on your desk at work, on a shelf in your kitchen, near the bathroom sink or on the back on your toilet. Okay, maybe that last one isn't the most inspiring spot but you will be guaranteed to see it and have a moment to yourself when you do!

I've been collecting striped river rocks for a very long time now and was always wondering why. Originally I was going to sell them at a very small cost through Etsy, but I recently decided to give them away for free. Selling them to make a profit, however small, just seemed wrong some how.
